Something new is being created in the premises of the former Erbse at Calvinstrasse 20.

Where beer flowed into thirsty throats for many decades, beer should now also be brewed.

I am a beer brewer and here I am realizing my dream of brewing beer in small batches without any requirements or compromises. And then serve it to the guests without having to fill it in bottles and go through retail outlets. In addition to classic beers, special beers will also be available from the five taps.

People from the neighborhood and all over Kiel should feel comfortable here in a relaxed atmosphere. As a new operator, I of course have a vision for this place. An important part of this vision is that the Kleiner Kobel is shaped by the people who visit it. Especially in the early days, I am happy to receive suggestions and ideas. Please contact me if you are a cultural worker and are looking for spaces where art and culture can take place. Or if you are a volunteer and are looking for a place to meet with other people.

It should be ready at the beginning of February. The opening hours will initially be limited to the evening hours, but will be expanded towards the summer.
